Dental Implants Worcester Worcestershire

Multiple Missing Teeth

If you are missing several teeth, individual implants or implant-supported bridges can replace them. You do not require a separate implant for each tooth that is missing, as we can bridge from  implants to implant.

What are the advantages of implant-supported bridges over fixed bridges or removable partial dentures?

Dental implants provide several advantages over other teeth replacement options. In addition to looking and functioning like natural teeth, implant-supported bridges replace teeth without compromising adjacent natural teeth.Implants preserve your jawbone and facial appearance whilst providing you with a stable, secure solution that lets you eat what you want.

Other common treatments for replacing several teeth, such as conventional bridges or removable partial dentures, are dependent on support from adjacent teeth. Conventional bridges and removable dentures will not prevent the gum and bone from receding (resorbing) wherever a tooth has been lost and a visible defect might lead to a collapsed, unattractive smile. Removable partial dentures might also move around in the mouth and reduce your ability to eat certain foods. Conventional bridges and removable dentures increase the risk of tooth decay in your remaining natural teeth whereas implants, being made of titanium cannot decay.

Implants are aesthetic, functional and comfortable and we hope a longer lasting healthier solution when multiple teeth are missing.
